No advance order = no iPhone 5

Apple’s new mobile phone, the iPhone 5, will today be unveiled today at Heysel’s Palais 10, which has been transformed into a gigantic pop-up store run by mobile operator Mobistar. However, only those who registered via the iSwap pre-ordering system and received an invitation will be allowed in. In other words, if you haven’t ordered an iPhone 5, your chances of – legally – acquiring one today are non-existent. In France, delivery time for the iPhone 5 (if bought via the official Apple online store) is estimated at three to four weeks. The Belgian retail price of the iPhone 5 was announced yesterday as €689.99.
