New IS terrorist threats against Belgium
The IS jihadist militant group is threatening attacks against targets in Belgium. In a message delivered to jihad specialist Montasser AlDe’emeh, a Syrian member of IS said: “It’s not just a threat or empty words. This is a declaration of war, and the plans are ready.”
The source, who has been identified as Abdellah Nouamane, said that “libraries, hospitals, shopping streets and discotheques” were all among potential targets. “We are no longer concerning ourselves with discussions about innocent victims. All of the unfaithful will be killed. We will kill them just as they kill us.”
Though he declined to give details about where or when any possible attacks could occur, he said they were “inevitable” in the coming days, weeks, months and years.
Nouamane has lived in Antwerp for about 20 years and is a member of the radical Sharia4Belgium organisation.
