New rail strike announced on 17 August

Consider your travel plans over the long mid-August weekend as the independent trade union (SIC/OVS) plans to strike on Saturday 17 August, announced HR Rail on Wednesday, reports Belga.
Representing SNCB train conductors, the union also led a strike at the end of July in a protest against staff shortages and holiday entitlement.
A meeting has been set up by rail management to reconcile both parties.
