New mural in Brussels portrays climate activist Greta Thunberg
Climate activist Greta Thunberg’s face can now be seen on the façade of Cité du Sureau in downtown Brussels.
The mural was painted by the artist Encq, or Henk De Ruddere. The artist said that it represents the steps being taken by these young people for the climate.
Both Encq and the owner of the property hope the mural will help the activists with their cause, along with showing gratitude towards them.
Thunberg was at the European Parliament on Tuesday, calling for people to vote in European elections on behalf of young people not able to. She once again reiterated that changes must be made to save the environment.
