Native English speaking child who needs structured English activities

Question

Hi, my 8-year-old is bilingual English and French. He's in French public school in Brussels but I can't seem to find afterschool activities in English for him. Boy Scouts, music, sports, anything...

I'm sure there exist such programs; can anyone offer me some tips on where to find them?

Very active group - my son (in same situation as yours) joined at 6 and enjoyed every minute until he left for University in the UK.

Agree about scouts but huge waiting list so I'd suggest you volunteer on a regular basis to help because that way your child will get a place sooner they meet at St. Paul and BSB but I think there might be a new group in town at some point but not sure because hard to recruit leaders

Also if he likes performance type activities there is youth theatre but again I think there's a waiting list. All mine love this

Hello, I organize at www.chezpinkelephant.com art workshops in English. If your child is interested to join, I would love to welcome him. The price is very low as I charge only for the use of materials. Let me know if you are interested at olaru(a)chezpinkelephant.com.
