Moving to NYC or Tri-State Area? Shipping a painitng to the USA

Question

Hello,
I live in Brussels and i would like to send a painting (from my grand-mother) to my mother in New Jersey (Size: 100 x 80 x 10 cm). Is anybody moving to the US in the next few months - year and could take the painting with them in the move? The painting is of no value other then sentimental.
Or does anyone know of an the easiest (and price-frendly) way of shipping it?

If you don't need to keep the same frame, you can take the canvas off, wrap it carefully around a thin carboard tube, place it in a larger cardnoard tube, and mail it.
