Misdiagnosis
Question
Ford diagnosed a problem with my car and replaced the turbo as a result (2000EUR). I got the car back and still had the problems. Took it back, they placed a 2nd turbo thinking it was faulty, same problem. They then told me that they discovered another problem, the flywheel needs replacing (1600EUR)
In fact the turbo didn't need to be be replaced!
Can I do anything?
Thanks.
Write to Ford (not the dealer / garage that replaced the thing), and ask for your money back.
And if they are not helpful, copy someone from their media relations (should be a contact on the website), and say that you will contact the Belgian consumer organisation.
