From experience, "guidance" is salesmanship and "medical" is an advertising word. Your best guide is to lie on the mattress for three minutes and see how it feels.
I recently bought one from 'De Matrassenkoning' - branches all over the country and also called by the equivalent name in French.
As Mimi says, they are trying to sell you something but I found them helpful and there was no objection to my lying on a range of their mattresses to try them out.
There is an excellent in Chaussee d'Ixelles (between the Commune / corner to former Solvay buildings). Good advice and you have to test all mattresses, even more than some minutes.
This company delivers the new one and also takes the old for recycling.
I can't imagine wanting someone to tell me how comfortable I am when I am lying down/sleeping - weird!
