Marcolini to open flagship store in London
The Brussels-based luxury chocolate brand Pierre Marcolini, by far the most successful Belgian chocolatier with 30 boutiques scattered all over the world, has built an empire since opening in 1995. Marcolini chocolate shops can be found in many countries from France to Japan, and now in England, as well. The luxury brand will open the doors to its new flagship store in London on 1 May.
The new 38-square-metre London shop, located in the city’s iconic Marylebone High Street, is Marcolini’s first UK flagship store. The chic space incorporates a macaroon carousel, long counter covered with chocolates, special tasting area and sweetie bar.
In addition to Marcolini’s much-loved macaroons, some of the treats available for sale in the London shop include Financier biscuits made from Faro almonds and a variety of fruit-flavoured eclairs.
Pierre Marcolini’s latest fashion collaboration with French-Japanese label Maison Kitsuné will also be on display, with limited-edition boxes of chocolates or macaroons, all cutely decorated with the Kitsuné fox.
