Use an agency. If you have 4 to 8k to spend on a translation, you need to know it''s someone good, and you may need the right technical background too.

I can provide references. Worked for Universities, important organisations. I have a strong background in a number of areas. I would not accept the work without seeing a sample. And knowing the time-frame for the work. I am a native speaker of English and work with a bi-lingual French/English speaker.

Hi,

I am an experienced translator, with perfect English and French. My mother tongue is English (I'm Irish), and grew up in Luxembourg where I started with French at age 4 until 18. At university I did a law BSc and a French BSc, and have MSc's in European Law and Mathematics. If it helps I also speak fluent Dutch and German.

I would point out that I am not a "professional" translator. But I have translated for client things as diverse as adoption documents and PHd theses. As I am not a certified translator, my rates are reasonable. For small docs, its EUR10 per hour. For larger, we would agree a fixed price before. But based on your estimate, I would reckon between 800 and 1000 eur, depending on subject matter.

I can provide refences from previous clients.

I can be contacted on markiremonger1@gmail.com or on 02 307 0598.

Cheers

Mark
