Looking for car seat

During the summer I used this company when I had friends coming, which was great. They delivered and picked up. They were the best I found. In comparison to car rentals, the best by far. Hope this helps.

I've used Oscar Lilli a couple of times and also highly recommend them. They don't appear to do safety gates but they could probably suggest where you could get one. You could also try asking the Brussels Childbirth Trust: http://bctbelgium.org/
Depending on the timing and if you are willing to travel to pick up and return to south of Brussels, near Louvain la Neuve, I'd be happy to lend you a travel bed and two baby gates and maybe even a car seat, depending on the size and weight of the kid which will use it. None of it is very fancy, but its all functional.
Otherwise, if you speak French, I can give you a link to a site where Belgian mothers are selling and trading all baby/kids goods. But you need to speak French and you need to be quick! Good deals go fast.
