loft insulation

Question

Hello,
I am moving to a rental property where the loft is not insulated. The floor is concrete. Should I put down the glass wool (and if so at what thickness, 200mm?) and then make some sort of floor on top? or should I put down the insulated board? I will be going to the UK very soon so can buy what I need at a better price (I think). However what I need is guidance!!
Many thanks for all input.

Before to sign any contract (Main Residence - 9 years duration?) you had to require the PEB (Certificat de Performance Energétique). The landlords must show that to you BEFORE to sign the contract. This is compulsory by law.

If every cent counts, you had of course to choose among the thoudands flats that are to rent, those with the best PEB.

Now it is too late and es tenant, you are only allowed to make isolation works if you do have the prior written approval from your landlord.
