Locating a package in Belgian customs

Question

I recently purchased a dress via ebay in the US. Package was promptly dispatched to me via US Postal Services express service.  I have been able to track it all the way to Belgian customs where it arrived last Monday.

I have 2 questions - firstly, how long should I have to wait to get the dress passed through customs and secondly, is there any way for me to either phsyically go somewhere to try and retrieve it or call someone to find out where it is.

It's not a crisis, but I do need it for an event on Thursday but I can't find any useful tips online on how to expedite this!

According to the link below, Belgian Customs does not have info as to location of parcels coming from abroad.  They recommend that you contact the shipping company or the Belgian postal service:

Try checking with your mail carrier or the post office nearest you because the parcel might be waiting for you there for pick-up.  Perhaps your mail carrier attempted delivery but no one was home at the time (?).  Your mail carrier is supposed to leave a note in your mailbox instructing you to pick it up at the post office . . . but sometimes, this doesn't happen right away (as was in my case on one or two occasions).

And when picking up any parcels up at the post office, you might be asked to show your ID so remember to bring along your identity card just in case.

Good luck!
