Living in Overijse and attending a French Primarie

Question

Hello,

We are a non Belgian family living in Belgium for a couple of years now. And we have 2 kids who are fine with English and French, but have no exposure to Dutch. Recently, we found a house that we liked in Overijse and are seriously considering to give an offer on it. We have also enquired about place in a couple of maternelle/primarie schools in Ohain and have appointments scheduled for next week. My husband works in La Hulpe and I in Brussels. Thats the main reason to move out of Brussels, for us. Now, I would like to know if this combination of living in Overijse and attending French school in other areas will create any problems now or in future, say, for entrance into secondary schools. I know it is a vague question, but I would really appreciate if someone can point any issues that can crop, something that we totally missed..

Best Regards

solasi

You are allowed to choose a french school and no problem continue to secondary school in french.
