Linz to Salzburg
According to the international section of the Belgian Railways website, there are frequent trains (every 30 minutes or so) from Linz to Salzburg. Journey time is just over an hour so I can't imagine that it is very costly.
a) Eurolines to Munich + train special Bayern ticket (up to 5 persons / 1 ticket) to Salzburg, even this is in Austria, this special ticket is valid.

b) with a bit of ahead planning for cheap train tickets
1) ICE train ticket Brussels - Aachen and Aachen - Brussels
2) Deutsche Bahn 'Europa Spezial ticket' Aachen - Salzburg - Aachen (starts from 29 EUR www.bahn.de ( turn to English)
