Question

When an employee is on their trial period (6months) and the employer decides not to keep them, what is the legal notice period that they have to give to the employee? Also, is the employee entitled to unemployment if let go during the trial period?

max. one week notice period, can be negotiable based on mutual understanding...
If you have participated for belgium pension system atleast 18months either through this firm or previous firm then you are eligible for unemployment benefit with proper condtions(employer should justify why they are relieving you)
