Koninklijk Atheneum Etterbeek

Question

We are considering two secondary schools for our daughter. Sint Jozefscollege (Woluwe), and Koninklijk Atheneum Etterbeek. Could anyone tell me more about KAE. Do your have a child there, is there something you do not like? Academical levels are the same, very good? I understood that KAE was more modern - teaching English and ICT from the first grade. Could you please add some more information? Is there also a less traditional atmosphere in KAE?

We are Dutch but have been living abroad for years and our daughter was in British schools. She is now in Dutch school and speaks fluent Dutch and French. We don't mind if it is Catholic or not. TIA.

I don't know about KAE, But St Josef's is an excellent school. In my day it used to attract a good number of pupils from outside the Brussels area. If it still does, it may well be a better choice than KAE as there will be a higher % of dutch speakers in the school.
