Join the Diplomatic Bazar organised by the Embassies of Romania and the Republic of Moldova
The Diplomatic Bazar will take place in Brussels from 8 to 10 December 2023, under the patronage of the Embassies of Romania and the Republic of Moldova, standing out for its mission to promote "slow movement". The craft traditions in Romania and the Republic of Moldova remain deeply rooted, but face threats from cumulative crises. The Diplomatic Bazaar aims to be a platform to preserve these traditional practices and highlight the universal values they convey, while celebrating the cultural richness of the two countries.
This event is part of the philosophy of the Slow Movement, with activities such as Slow Manufacturing, Slow Fashion, Slow Tourism, Slow Journalism, Slow Art, and Slow Saveurs. It offers an immersion in the traditions and culture of both countries.
The target audience is varied, including the diplomatic corps, representatives of European institutions, students and teaching staff of the Free University of Brussels (ULB), as well as the Romanian and Moldovan diaspora, the general public, Belgians, and citizens of the world.
