Invoice for water usage

Question

I just recieved our water usage invoice and it seems rather high - 90 m3 for 2 persons. Is this normal usage or does it seem rather high? Also what is the cost per m3 approximately and does it differ with regions and cities?

I live alone and currently, I use 3m3 per month (excluding washing machine), but I'm working on reducing that by doing something similar like Kasseistamper: Before taking my shower, I catch the cold water in a bucket and then use that water to flush the toilet.

We are with two persons people, plus a small cattery and reside in the Gent region. Our water bill comes from Farys/TMVW. Last year we used 75m3 and the yearly fee was €370. We had a small leak. Previous years we used 58m3.
Suggestions to reduce your water bill:
Reduce the number of times you flush our toilet with multiple uses before flushing, take a short shower, wash laundry only on full loads, turn off tap when brushing teeth (wet your brush and use a glass for rinsing), check for any leaks or dripping taps, regularly collect rain water in buckets to wash the car, flush the toilet, water the garden or clean your floors.

If you have a water softener, be aware that they usually consume a lot of water for their rinsing cycles.
If you suspect a leak, turn off every tap or machine that uses water in the house, then look at the water meter. If the meter is turning, you either have a leak or air in the water pipes from the street is moving your meter.
Multiple usage before flushing: There is no harm allowing urine to stay in the bowl.
