Insurance,

Question

Hi,

I am moving away from my current employer to a new one after 6 years of employment. I got a statement from my health insurer ( provided by the company, i contribute some as well). that i am entitled for a sum of 9000+ euro if i terminate my job or if the company request.

The new company i would join will provide me a better health insurance.

I am not sure if i should take out this money or carry them forward to my new insurance, any advice is welcome.

Best Regards,

KIM

Normally, you get nothing back for health insurance. I think you are probably confusing this with pension or social security.
If it is pension, you are usually better off leaving it where it is, BUT that depends on a lot of things, and you should seek professional advice on the matter.
