Why not make use of one the communal music academies or ASBLs?

One of our children is about to start piano lessons with an ASBL, an individual lesson costs 14 euro per 30 minutes, solfege is taught as part of the lesson. I could have chosen the local music academy for zero, but it required 2 hours a week solfege, just no time to do that, so instead I opted for the paying lesson.
