Question

Is there a legal way to avoid inheritance tax in Brussels? Would registering or transferring a property in the name of the children solve this?
We are both EU expats. Thanks

See a lawyer. Very complex legal business, and it would be foolish for a non-specialist who does not have detailed information about your current tax, family, health and retirement situation to even attempt to advise.

Having said that, you'll probably find a book or 2 on the subject at your local library.
