Ingrowing Toe Nail

Question

I have a very painful ingrowing toe nail.....has anybody had successful treatment for same with anybody here? Not sure if I should be looking for a Dermatologist or Podiatrist......but if you can recommend either I would be very grateful....(Brussels and surrounds)> thanks!

Forget podiatrists... they are not actually doctors in this country and they will just torture you when trying to treat an ingrowing toenail. I suffered at the hands of their quackery (suggested by a GP!!) for a few sessions before I realised I needed a dermatologist.

Can recommend a v good dermatologist in Ixelles. He said my ingrowing toenail was one of the worst (top 3) he had ever seen, but he did a great job. Absolutely no pain in the surgery and no recurrence over a year later.
