Question

Dear All

A friend of mine is recovering from cervical cancer and needs to take infusions for her follow up tretament. She need to find a clinic that can prepare and administer the infusions. Any ideas?

She should ask the doctor that prescribed the infusions where to get them.

Thanks Anon. The doctor who prescribed them is in Germany, while she works in Brussels ... that's the dilemma ...

Would a nurse be able to come to a home to do it ?

Check out the Wit-Gele Kruis - or the French language equivalent of White-Yellow Cross (same organisation). They provide nurses who provide this service and they are not particularly expensive.

I think there are different kinds of infusions and for one at least it's necessary to stop any anti-inflammatory medication in advance. I know they administer them at the Pain Clinic in Delta hospital.
