Inflation rate at 1.19%

The inflation rate in Belgium was recorded at 1.19% last month, reports Trading Economics, quoting figures from BelgoStat. From 1921 until 2013, the Belgian inflation rate has averaged 5.95%, reaching an all-time high of 222.81% in January 1947 and a record low of -18.11% in October 1921. In Belgium, the inflation rate measures a broad rise or fall in prices that consumers pay for a standard basket of goods reflecting trends and technologies as well as everyday household needs.
