Independent worker rights - moneywise

Question

If an independent ends up without much work, what are his rights in Belgium?
Is social housing offered if rent cannot be paid?
Single parent with school child should expect help I presume, here in Wallonia?
Is UK worth trying as support should be available there I presume?
Any advice welcomed.

Anyone can register to have social house or appartement but lists are usualy 3 years waiting. You can present yourself at your local cpas to ask for money follow up so you don't get into dette. social workers at CPAS or planing familia can give you lots of advices.
