Hypnotist for insomnia

Question

Hi!

Would anyone know of a professional hypnotist for insomnia?

Many thanks in advance

Kerry

Having suffered with insomnia for many years I feel for you. If you do not find a hypnotist who can cure it , try to figure out what is the cause in your own life. Is it work stress, or relationship issues or whatever and try to eliminate the cause from your life. If your insomnia is stress related, you can also counteract it to some degree by making sure you get plenty physical daily exercise - at least an hour -preferably more of walking every day in a peaceful environment (forest, bois, lakeside). this really helps to release the stress the wakes you up at ungodly hours of the morning or stops you from falling asleep even when you are dog tired at night. I hope you find your solution soon - good luck.

I've been plagued for around 40 years on and off by this problem which I'm told is physiological. Have had electrodes in sleep clinic, tried CBT, herbal remedies, various sleeping pills. walk daily. Am generally happy with life but have never unlocked the mystery! Hypnosis seems to be the only solution left : but finding a professional isn't easy.

Thanks for your concern and good luck too!

Have you ever thought that your brain might just be twisted and that you need different sleep patterns from "normal"?

Thatcher was notorious for sleeping 4-5 hours a night. Churchill used to cat-nap throughout the day.

40 years on, and you're not dead yet. Maybe you just need to understand, and be happy with your sleep patterns.

Just suggesting you don't judge yourself by the needs of people who go to bed at 10pm and get up at 7am. It doesn't work for me either.
