I would like to become a translator, does any one know how to register as a freelancer in Belgium?

The first step is to apply to become "indépendant" (freelance) at the banque carrefour des entreprises:

http://economie.fgov.be/fr/entreprises/BCE/

 

They will screen your certificates, mangement and financial skills; business plan.
