friends coming to visit Brussels and Paris. Have asked for recommendations for nice hotel in the 15th in Paris. Budget not to exceed €150/night. Would appreciate any ideas. Thanks

Try one of the hotel reservation sites such as "Trip advisor" or "booking" or other for best options. Hotels in Paris are generally over priced.
