Question

Hi does anyone have any experience of giving birth in either St. Elisabeths or Ixelles/Etterbeek. Any suggestions for doctors also appreciated?

I gave birth to my son in St Elisabeth in Feb. I had an amazing experience. The doctor and midwifes are so friendly and professional. My doctor was dr vaesen. She was also brilliant

My wife gave birth to both our children at St Eilzabeth's, they were very good with excellent facilities. On both occasions it was delivery by C-section, the first time as an emergency with a leading specialist, the second as normal procedure. Overall we would recommend the hospital… our doctor was Dr Verbrugen but I'm not sure if she is still there now...

Also suggest you check out the BCT for info on giving birth in Belgium, they run English language ante natal classes
