Hopeless Belgian basketball player goes viral

A rather surreal clip taken from Belgian basketball’s fifth division is becoming a worldwide hit among basketball blogs. Yahoo Sports’ Ball Don’t Lie blog describes the 30-second clip thus: “After rebounding an opponent’s missed free throw, this yellow-dipped Belgian player launches an all-out assault on his own basket... and despite four point-blank tries with nobody even remotely close to him, misses them all.” The Bleacher Report, meanwhile, “encourages anyone who has more info to step forward” to identify the ‘hero’ in the clip.
