High demand scuppers Nexus launches in Belgium

Belgium and the Netherlands have been cut from the release list for the new Nexus 4 phone, with LG and Google preferring to focus their efforts other countries, writes Adrian Diaconescu on the Android Authority blog. Belgium and the Netherlands were not among the first batch of countries to get the Nexus 4, but, according to reports, they were meant to get the 4.7in telephone “by the end of November”. However, due to the phone’s unexpected popularity abroad, LG and Google decided that their priorities lay in other markets. Furthermore, the Nexus 10 tablet might also be on stand-by in Belgium and Netherlands, a further setback that neither Samsung nor Google has yet confirmed.
