I do no know the specific piece of kit you are looking for but I know that my mutuelle has an enormous range of equipment for hire for use in the kind of medical situation that you describe. There is also a place which hires stuff out located about 200 metres from the main entrance of Gasthuisberg in Leuven so similar places near other hospitals is a possibility.
The mutuelle would be the first place that I would ask and, if they cannot help, then my family doctor or the hospital/specialist involved in the operation. These are the people who should be able to give you the advice that you need.
