I am looking for a French teacher for beginners A1 in Brussels, preferably available for lessons in Ixelles area and after-work hours/weekend.
Do you know anyone with experience and not super expensive, otherwise a school or course..?
There is a school the address is Avenue Ernestine 1, 1050 Bruxelles. You can visit here www.cefr.be
The price is good as compared to the private teacher, you can choose your program, in class or private, hours etc.
You can also check this http://cvo-bec.be. the course will be in VUB university or some other places, the price will be arround 180 euros, you can choose the timing in morning or evening. Average class has 25 students.
Check your commune too. Low cost group classes at most.
Communes do not run language lessons. However there is a network of public language schools subsidized by the French and Flemish language communities and both teach French. 2 of the 3 Flemish ones in Brussels offer French, cvo bec already mentioned but also cvo lethas. https://cvolethas.be/talen-frans-leren-in-brussel/
The French community have almost 30 schools offering French in brussels. https://www.prosocbru.be/liste_langues.php?sql=francais
Avoid communal French classes. Many are taught by bigoted housewives who are not qualified. What I experienced in one of the Eastern facility communes around Brussels is incredible and so unexpected. Get a qualified teacher who knows how to teach to foreigners.
I am a native French certified teacher with international experience, offering private lessons online. Individuals or small groups.
The lessons can be designed to prepare students for IB French exams and GCSE/A-level or HSC exams, as well as DELF and DALF exams.
I also specialize in teaching business French to professionals.
The online French classes are conducted via Skype or Zoom so that we can teach you no matter where you are, in the comfort of your home or office.
Don’t hesitate to contact French via Skype if you have any questions or want to sign up for lessons.
A bientôt !
