Freelancing in the Netherlands with a Belgian TVA account

Question

Good afternoon,

I am a freelance contractor based here in Belgium (with Belgian TVA) and have been offered a 5-week contract in Amsterdam (3 days there and 2 days here). I would be invoicing a UK agency.

Would anyone know if there is a special tax agreement between Belgium and the Netherlands, whereby taxes are paid locally here in Belgium? Or do I have to go through an umbrella company? I've already asked my accountant and he is unsure and the agency is pushing their preferred umbrella company.

Would greatly appreciate a website address or the name of a professional whom I can consult regarding this.

Thank you.

They would. I'd bet there's an introduction fee for each consultant. It might be worth talking to them anyway to see if they have a clue.

This looks good. Similar question:
