Free Tai Chi in Brussels all summer long
Teachers of Tai Chi are offering free classes in green and urban spaces across Brussels, the City reported in a press release. Until 30 September, the free Tai Chi lessons will be held six times a week across the capital, writes Bruzz.
The goal of the initiative is to encourage residents to reflect on their health. "The classes are open to young and old,” says the City. “Tai Chi is the perfect marriage between peaceful exercise and meditation that can be practiced by everyone. All you have to do is put on some comfortable clothing and attend one of the sessions in your neighbourhood."
The sessions take place at the following places and times: Tuesday and Friday from 14.00-16.00 at the Park Cinquantenaire fountain, Wednesday from 14.00-15.30 at the pool of Neder-Over-Heembeek, Thursday from 13.00-14.30 at the Royal Park kiosk, Thursday from 14.00-16.00 at the Carrefour des Attelages in Bois de la Cambre, Saturday from 14.30-16.00 at the Jan Sobieski Park playground and Sunday from 11.00-12.30 in front of the Bourse.
