Free-to-air TV
I'm moving shortly and thinking of getting rid of my triple play tv, phone and broadband and just getting a broadband only package.
I rarely watch Belgian TV with the exception of the news for 30 minutes maybe once a week, and the odd football match (Champions League or Red Devils) on RTBF, RTL etc. I was just wondering if there is any way to watch these channels on a free system either through cable, satellite or terrestrial (such as Freeview in the UK)?
You can pick up DVB-T transmissions on a digital TV (I use a UK Freeview TV). In Waterloo I get six channels I think. Een, Canvas, euronews, LaUne LaDeux, LaTrois. I think at least one would broadcast football. I found this site that supposedly gives info about where to point your antenna. I don't know how accurate it is.

Oh, and don't forget you can get some of these channels via the internet anyway! eg http://www.rtbf.be/
Most programmes available on Internet from: www.filmon.com
www.scarlet.be ( owned by Proximus with identical equipment and quality ).
ADSL internet: starts at 25€ per month.

I see these comments are 5 years old, but the problem of free to air channels didn`t disappear. Is there any way to watch free to air channels without internet connection?
