France 24 to present television special from Solvay Library

15:43 09/08/2016

The French international news channel France 24 will come to Brussels on 27 September to shoot a special broadcast on Europe. The talk show will take place that day in the Solvay Library (pictured) in Leopold Park, writes Bruzz.

The international media did not hesitate to point the finger at Belgium after the attacks in Paris and Brussels, coming up with the term “failed state”, which the Belgian politicians staunchly denied. France 24 also made a controversial report on Belgium at the time, which created additional tensions between the news channel and the government of Belgian prime minister Charles Michel.

September's television special is completely unrelated, assures France 24. "The date was fixed long ago. It's about the 300th broadcast of our Ici l'Europe programme,” a spokesperson told Bruzz. Ici l'Europe is a bi-monthly show with European guests, in cooperation with the European parliament.
