fixing small electrical appliances
Hi,
Does anyone know of an electrician that fixes small electrical appliances. For example, we have an retro coffee machine that no longer heats the water, the red light still comes on, so it's not a problem with the fuse - perhaps the thermostat or something, but we aren't sure. Our hoover also broke, we think that is an internal fuse. There are all of these kinds of things we can't seem to find a shope that will fix them.

Often the costs of repair exceed the price of a new appliance, normally no guarantee is offered on repairs of older things.
A new thermostat for an older coffee machine is very hard to find...as Senseo and more expensive contraptions have taken over the market.
It is the "other" people that always prefer new things that make it very hard and expensive for us to repair older things.
