Fix My Street app updated

12:17 03/04/2014

Fix My Street, the smartphone app for reporting defects in the public space, gets an important update today, extending its service to include light poles, traffic lights and road signs, says Brigitte Grouwels, Brussels Minister for public works.

So far Fix My Street only allowed Brussels residents to report, for example, damaged sidewalks or potholes in the road. Since its launch one year ago, the system has received 7,870 reports of defects.

After the Easter holidays, the app will get another update in order to connect all 19 Brussels municipalities to the system.
