Extra trains to Belgian coast for hot weekend

The SNCB is putting on extra trains to the Belgian coast, as temperatures reaching up to 30°C are forecast this weekend.
Four additional trains will make the return journey from Brussels to Ostend and Blankenberge on Saturday and Sunday, increasing the available capacity by 7,000 seats each day. The trains begin their route in either Hasselt, Liège or Leuven.
The SNCB has also announced more trains from Antwerp to the seaside on Saturday and Sunday - and has reminded passengers that rail travel is half price on both days with a Weekend ticket.
