Expat Tax Status

Good afternoon expats.

As a new resident I would appreciate some clarification about the expat tax status for which we qualify. From everything I have read, I am under the impression that tax here is paid only on the Belgian Salary. Is this correct?

I was wondering specifically about rental income on our house we are letting in the UK. Obviously we pay tax on that in the UK but I assume it is not also taxed over here.

Is my understanding correct?
