Exceeding your data limit

Question

Hi,

I know I could call Proximus, but this is easier for me.. Perhaps some kind soul can clarify for me

I have a fairly generous dataplan with Proximus(10 GB). Nevertheless, I am often getting very close to the monthly limit if I am not careful(too much youtube...).

My question is, what happens if I exceed my data allocation. What is the penalty ? Can I buy extra data at a reasonable price?

Thanks in advance for all answers

Edi

Be very careful with that. It will cost you hell lot of money. One additional MB out of your data plan it will cost you 10 cents which means for 1 GB more than your actual plan you are going to pay 102.4Euro+ monthly plan. Be careful as here mobile plan prices are much more expensive compared to many countries. I do not know how much you pay per month but I have seen everywhere Orange advertisement that they are offering 40Euro unlimited plan. Even they are marketing as unlimited you will have only first 20GB with full speed and after the speed will be reduced but you will not be charged extra. I have no affiliation with them but might be worth checking

Hi,

For every extra mb you pay Surfen: € 0,10/MB

Now my advise to you: do you gave internet at home? If yes why dont you combine your internet and mobile and take a pack? If you take a pack from Proximus you get 20gb instead of 10gb which should be enough for your needs. They have a pack with internet tv mobile tel with 20gb and netflix included
