EU expat allowance for Belgian citizen not currently residing in Belgium

Question

I was wondering if anyone could clarify whether I would be entitled to receive the 16% expat allowance working as a contractual agent for the Commission, given that I am a Belgian citizen, but have not lived/resided there since I was a child.

If you move to Belgium specifically to take up a post in the Commission, you should be entitled to the 16% expat allowance.
