EU Blue Card processing time

Hello everyone,

Has anyone here obtained an EU Blue Card?

I am speaking with an employer in Belgium about a job and we have discovered that due to changes this year, the Blue Card now takes about 4 months to process.

I'm wondering if there's any place to check processing times or if anyone else has experience with this. For other countries that have instituted the Blue Card (Netherlands, Germany, France, etc.) the processing times appear to be much faster.
