Estate Agents - Brussels - Apartment Sale
From a buyers perspective, Sorimmo and Latour & Petit were the best of a bad lot.
From a seller perspective doing it by myself saved me from paying 8/9K fees to an estate agent for what would have been a 10 minutes job.
needless to say the apartment was well finished, completely decluttered, well presented and properly "staged". Those kind of advises that local estate agents don't seem to care much about.
R above gives wise advice. I've only dealt with agents as a buyer and many of the agencies in Brussels seem to be clueless about the properties they are selling. Not only are they clueless, but many times they don't return your calls or they don't even bother to respond to your emails, so if i were to ever sell a property in Brussels, I would use an agent if i was completely incapacitated. But a couple of agencies were ok when compared to others---immo id, macnesh, L&P. At least they picked up the phone and if they didn't know an answer to a property's question, they got back to me in a day or so. The rest....useless!
I recommend Immo ID (http://www.immoid.be/). If you contact them, ask to speak to Stefan Vanhaeren.
