ENI supplier

Question

I am a client with Electrabel. I had a call on my land line (where did they obtain this?) informing me that due to the imminent closure of "a" nuclear plant presumably in Belgium, electricity bills will go up by 35% (a rather arbitrary percentage!) in Belgium and France! This alternative supplier ENI wished to make an appointment with me to discuss ways of how better to avoid these price hikes.

Checking on google there will be no closure of any plant until at least 2025 and on calling Electrabel they confirmed that this is a rather desperate attempt to get people to change energy suppliers.

So dont be conned ! I feel sorry for especially the very elderly who might just be.

I always answer the phone in English and say sorry I don't speak French... Flemish do you speak English? That usually stops them quickly.
