In Mechelen you have an excellent ginecologist, english speaker (20' away from Brussels), Boeckxstaens An (voor campus Zwartzustersvest: 015 29 60 00).

If it's just for a standard gynea Pap smear most good family doctors will be able to offer that quickly. If it's something more troubling go to your GP who can refer you quicker than you can refer youreself. I was seen inside a week when my GP referred me to someone who had a very long waiting list for routine appointments.

I cannot understand the advertising campaign of CHS going on this website.
In addition, when someone asks for a specialist do not tell them how they should go to their GP. Underestimating people's intelligence does not count as help.

Nor does assuming that everyone living in a new country is automatically aware of exactly how everything works.
Better, surely, to tell someone what they might already know than NOT to tell them what they don't know.

I am certainly not any part of a publicity or advertising campaign on behalf of the CHS. I have found them to be a very useful resource of information and help, as have a good many others.

Riri the reason I mention GP was because they can and do get you a faster appointment for specialist issues. I said that in my post. Also I think it's a British thing it's rare to se a specialist gynea doc for routine checks, that is done by your GP. Plus I notice you didn't tell off the person who suggested a man when heft said a female nor the person. Whose suggesting Mechen when they said rogier so come on go the whole hog and tell us we're all wrong for trying to help at all.
