Ecole St Famille in Watermael-Boitsfort
Hello,
Does anyone know what is the "deal" with école St Famille in Watermael-Boitsfort? I called in 2011 and in the beginning of 2012 the director to ask for an inscription for a child born in 2009, the director told me the school is completely full. I told her I can wait and be inscribed for any year ahead until primaire or when primaire comes for children born in 2009, I asked to be put on a waiting list, and she refused, saying I have no chances. I was quite surprised. I thought may be she does not like people with an accent or what? Can you give me an advice on how to get a chance for an inscription in this school? Thank you all in advance.
Yep. Sounds like the usual "not the right type for the school" issue.
Get a French speaking neighbor from a "bonne famille" (ie BBB) to call and ask about places, and I'm sure you'll find there's a place available.
Take the evidence to the Centre d'égalité des chances, or to the police.
