Dry Cleaning

Question

Does anyone know where I can get a much loved suede jacket dry cleaned well in Brussels?

Tara

Just for info... Dry cleaning is any cleaning process for clothing and textiles using a chemical solvent other than water. The solvent used is typically tetrachloroethylene (perchloroethylene), abbreviated "perc" in the industry and "dry-cleaning fluid" by the public. It is often used instead of hand washing delicate fabrics, which can be excessively laborious.

The International Agency for Research on Cancer has classified tetrachloroethene as a Group 2A carcinogen, which means that it is probably carcinogenic to humans. Like many chlorinated hydrocarbons, tetrachloroethene is a central nervous system depressant and can enter the body through respiratory or dermal exposure Tetrachloroethene dissolves fats from the skin, potentially resulting in skin irritation.
